Federal Government Announces Plans to Ship Ottawa-built Modular Homes to Nunavut

Caivan and Nunavut Tunngavik Inc., will be the first two partners in a federal government plan to build up to 750 new homes in Nunavut. The Federal Government announced a new $480 million dollar project under the “Build Canada Homes” program, to build 750 homes for the North with funding coming from both the federal and territorial governments, in partnership with Inuit Organizations.
